The product, in the report: steam mop
While using my Smart Living Steam Mop it made a loud “explosion type” sound, started spitting out hot water. The plug became very and the silver metal handle rod became red hot and would not turn off. I immediately unplugged the unit from the wall receptacle and when I picked the unit up to empty it I burnt the tips of two fingers when they touched the handle rod. This product carries a one year warranty and is sold at fairs throughout the country. I contacted by email Ocean Sales out of Calgary, Canada and was told to contact the person I purchased this mop from, impossible. I feel this product is both a safety and fire hazard and should be investigated. There are numerous reviews online that indicate the same problem.
