The product, in the report: LEVO I, black. Product Dimensions 15 x 9 x 9 inches Item Weight 8.25 pounds Shipping Weight 8.25 pounds (View shipping rates and policies) Manufacturer Levo Oil Infusion Inc ASIN B07NY16Y6Z From Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/LEVO-Temperature-Mess-Free-Dishwasher-Components/dp/B07NY16Y6Z/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8
LEVO I - Small Batch Oil and Butter Herbal Infusion Machine - Precise Time and Temperature Controls For Easy and Mess-Free Homemade Infusions - Dishwasher Safe Components - Basalt Bought on Amazon.
Product requires holding down a “Load” button while inserting metal basket. Was meeting with resistance while holding down button and inserting basket. We were infusing olive oil. Ran for 3 hours at 165 as the directions on Levo’s website, there’s a calculator, suggested to run for. When done, pressing the “Release” button for the oil to come out did nothing. Even tho it’s olive oil and very thin, not viscous, we thought it must have gotten stuck in the rubber release tube. So we opened the lid, it was very liquid, the release button didn’t release a single drop. We ran machine another 10 minutes in case olive oil was stuck, it was not, it still didn’t want to come out of infusion chamber, and it’s been cooking, so it’s hot. We held down the button over the course of 20 minutes to try to remove the oil. Then it seemed done, no oil left. A few minutes later, we looked on counter, entire counter was covered with infused olive oil!!! It was underneath the LEVO I and all around this appliance, sitting in a giant puddle of oil. All over our counters and then it seeped down front of kitchen cabinets. A huge mess! Hot oil. So now I just tried to run it next to sink with nothing but water, see if it’s leaking. Sure enough! This ELECTRIC appliance that gets very hot was throwing the water all over the place! Looking closer, there’s some kind of tiny air holes next to larger hole where the product is supposed to come out. It was going out those holes. Even worse! It does seem to be coming from UNDER the machine, and the empty space in the back. Nothing you are infusing should be in the empty panel along the back or UNDER the machine. This thing is dumping the product you put in the holder out the tiny holes, under the machine, and all around the sides, everywhere except where it’s SUPPOSED to be coming out!!! I took videos and photos to show this. The LEVO I has made a HUGE mess of our kitchen. It is unreliable, dangerous, it’s running on electricity, it creates very HOT liquid. This thing should be recalled! Sold thru Amazon, it’s very dangerous. I’m returning the whole stupid thing!
