I purchased a Great Northern Premium Quality Shaved Ice Machine and it did not come with a safety shield. Using the shaved ice machine, the big block of ice flew out of the machine and struck me in the torso causing bruising. The damage could have potentially been lethal or deadly. A safety shield would have prevented this. When contacting the manufacturer they say some of the machines now come with a safety shield and that I would have to purchase it. This doesn’t seem appropriate as a safety shield should have been included with their shaved ice machines. Please help.
