The product, in the report: https://www.breville.com/en-us/product/bmf600
I have a Breville milk frother that is used for whisking milk, creamer for coffer. It also heats the milk via an induction heating technology. The product contains plastic that over time has become brittle and cracked. Breville is not willing to do anything and seems ill concerned about the engineering deficiencies of this unit resulting in the unit cracking and becoming so brittle.

The product, in the report: Breville Milk Cafe Model BMF600XL
We have owned the Breville Milk Cafe Model BMF600XL for years with no problem. We came home yesterday to a strong smell of plastic. Under the appliance was a large pool of liquid plastic. It seems the heating element failed to automatically turn off and it melted the plastic parts of the machine from the inside. This could have created a fire, thankfully it did not. Unfortunately I cleaned up the mess before I thought to photograph it.
