The product, in the report: Ardent FX, UL Listed as Precision Heater E508685, pictured and described on Ardent website: https://ardentcannabis.com/product/nova-fx/
I was using an Ardent FX decarboxylator when it failed to shut off properly and overheated beyond the usual temperature. It melted the silicone handle of the insert that I also purchased from Ardent for use inside the FX decarboxylator. Without a shut off switch, there is a danger of fire. This is not the first report to you of this problem with another model of decarboxylator from the same company. Additionally, there are lots of reports online. I have contacted Ardent and they cannot fix the unit and will not replace it either. A PhD level scientist was using the product. Luckily she was monitoring it or it may have started a fire, especially if she were using it for oil infusing. The product was being used in accordance with all manufacturer’s instructions, warnings, specifications, and videos available at the time of purchase. A silicone handle on the Ardent FX insert was burned along with my costly medicine that I have a prescription for. If it would have been used for oil infusion, then the hot oil could have caught on fire and/or severely burned someone. There was no warning about this possibility accompanying the product and the $300 unit does not seem to have the most basic over-heat protection found on even the cheapest of coffee makers. The same seems to be true for all Ardent decarboxylators based on online reviews. The Ardent FX is a kitchen appliance. Ardent says they are working on the problem, but they have no timeline for resolution and are still selling and shipping products without a warning in spite of numerous negative reviews of their products online that refer to the fire hazard and dangerous defect. Someone else complained to you a couple of years ago, and there are complaints online for the past at least 5 years. With the federal government allowing hemp, and more states legalizing cannabis, the likelihood of a deadly fire or serious injury increases every day that you do not act.

The product, in the report: Ardent Lift precision multi-tool. UPC number 6 45964 96425 Model no: AD1 S/N: A100613811920
I was gifted a new Ardent Lift as a medical cannabis patient this device is used to becarboxolate cannabis. After the third time during this it overheated and melted the plastic inside the device to the point it scorch the Exterior of housing of the unit. I reached out to the manufacturer and confirmed to there request and sent pictures and filled out the questions they asked. They also instructed me to ship back the unit to them after checking with my local post office I was told it is illegal to ship anything that has been used in cannabis manufacturing. I explained to the manufacturer what my local post office and Police Department had told me and that’s when they refused to replace their product. They blamed me saying I misused the device when in fact I followed there instructions on there YouTube channel. There have been similar problems posted online about this issue and the company denied that saying I was the only one to have a defective product. They are scamming medical cannabis patients and taking advantage of people who are trying to find a better quality of life during there finial days. They are praying on the sick and week selling a snake oil device.
