The product, in the report: aarke carbonator ii, silver
I was using my Aarke II water carbonator when the the bottle exploded, shortly after starting the carbonation process. Shards of plastic flew all through my kitchen, and my face and hand were welted and cut with the plastic. The force of the blast hit my cabinet even breaking some dishes.
The bottle was never exposed to heat or placed in the dishwasher. All of the manual guidelines for bottle care were very carefully followed, and the bottle was not expired.
