The product, in the report: Black & Decker All-in-One Deluxe Automatic Breadmaker
I had started the basic bread cycle on my bread machine, which I had used two times previously with no problems, and about 5 minutes later, I smelled something burning. The heating coils were bright red and the water and bread mix were not mixed at all, but charred. I believe the bread machine overheated and could have caused a fire if I hadn’t unplugged it. Smoke billowed out when the lid was open, and part of the plastic on top of the lid had melted.
