The product, in the report: Grey, 7/8 inches in width. Used for tying down a 2,00 pound boat on its trailer.
Copy of a letter to the: Illinois Industrial tool Company: I purchased a set of 4 tie-down straps in August (I no longer have the sales receipt). I understand you are the distributors for the Chinese company which manufactured them. The bar code number is 0 39593 74671 2.
You need to know these straps are worthless. Two of the straps broke apart when I was in the process of just tightening them. Since I was planning on using them to secure my boat, the possible consequences became a huge concern.
These straps are grey in color and 7/8” in width. I presume, from the way they broke, they have just rotted. I have an intact one and one of the broken ones.
