The product, in the report: Dual sided grill brush

On 8-27-14 a metal grill brush wire became imbedded into a hamburger that I had cooked on my grill. The wire was ingested by myself and became lodge in the right side of my throat. The grill brush that it came from was made by the Grill Shop. The brush was only a few months in use. I had used the brush to clean my grill prior to starting it that day.

After the wire became lodged in my throat, I felt a great deal of pain. I have had the following exams, procedure and surgeries due to this.

Visit to Ear, Nose and Throat specialist x 3 visits. Will have a 4th visit January, 2014. CT scan x 3 Xray x 1 Nasal endoscopy & Laryngoscopy x 2 Pre-op examination and lab work. Attempt to remove a the foreign body with general anesthesia on 12-1-14. This was unsuccessful. Second attempt to remove the foreign body with general anesthesia and stealth guided CT on 12-4-14. This surgery was successful, but difficult. It lasted greater than 5 hours. Hospitalization for management of pain control and airway monitoring x 1 day.
