  1. Hurt, no treatment

Made Apr 3, 2013, sent to the company Apr 11, 2013, published by CPSC Apr 25, 2013

The product, in the report: Clorox Disinfecting Wipe Fresh Scent

    Sent to Clorox

    Clorox Disinfecting Wipe Fresh Scent

After using Clorox Disinfecting Wipe Fresh Scent for more than 2 years on unpainted wood chopping boards, without potable water rinse, we have correlated intestinal distress and wet underpants with this practice. Having finally taken the product label to bright light, donned our reading glasses and studied the superfine print in your directions for use we have discontinued use of the subject wipes on said boards. We have rinsed the unpainted wood chopping boards with potable water and are now concerned about their continued use. We would like to know: 1. Should we continue use these unpainted wood chopping boards after 2 years of improper treatment? 2. For the sake of customers like us, will you consider making “Our directions for use” print as large as the “ Mirrors & Glass”,”Stainless Steel”, “ and “Finished Hardwood” print so that others may not wait 2 years to read your precautionary statements. 3. You illustrate “Mirrors &. Glass”, “Stainless Steel” and “Finished hardwood”. Will you also illustrate, adjacent to those illustration and in equal size, a “Do not use on wooden cutting boards” illustration?

    Regards.
