The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: it is a teal and gold coffee mug. Here is the exact link https://www.walmart.com/ip/640820094?sid=c06a85e0-0a65-481f-87e7-cd119672b09a

I was severely burned on my finger after putting a Walmart/THYME and table coffee mug into the microwave for 20 seconds. This mug did not spark, or make any indications that it was going to be severely dangerous after such a short period of time. I grabbed the mug out of the microwave and had contact with it for maybe one full second and it gave me a third-degree burn on the back of my finger that is quite large and incredibly painful. Upon review on the website, it looks like many people have been severely burned by this product over 100 reviews of injuries. I am sending a letter of intent to the legal department at Walmart with a copy of this report.
