Seen by a doctor or nurse Made Sep 13, 2026, sent to the company Sep 18, 2026, published by CPSC Oct 3, 2026
The product, in the report: Stanley 16ounce tumbler drinking cup
This afternoon, our two year-old child was found with a small, circular metal piece in his mouth that we could not identify until later in the day. I was doing dishes and one of my Stanley Tumbler cups that is used for all of our family members as a regular drinking glass, was missing a piece at the bottom. I always assumed a Stanley Tumblr would be one piece and would never be a choking hazard. However, there is a small, circular piece that with only regular use can become dislodged. Not only is the circular metal piece a choking hazard but the glue that is used to keep the piece in place in accordance to their lifetime warranty, contains lead. The piece itself has said to be contaminated with lead.
