Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

  1. No one hurt

The product, in the report: Olababy Clear View Silicone Training Cup with Straw Lid | Toddler Sippy Trainer Unbreakable Water Drinking Cups for Kids 2yr+ | Baby Led Weaning & Feeding Supplies (Mint, 9 oz). I also bought the 5 oz size in peach/pink color.

I bought baby training cups and I noticed my 9 month old granddaughter looked like she was chewing on something. When I opened her mouth I pulled out what looked like a rubber ring and I didn’t know where it came from. A day later, I noticed the sippy training cup she was using looked like the straw had gotten shorter, and when I looked closely I could see it had been bitten off! It is a total choking hazard. She only had 2 little bottom teeth at the time. At further inspection, I could see the straw had multiple cracks in it. It says it is dishwasher safe, we hand washed the items - and the silicone rubber should NOT have come apart like this.
