No one hurt Made Feb 6, 2026, sent to the company Feb 17, 2026, published by CPSC Mar 3, 2026
The product, in the report: Mainstays (brand) “Self-Warming Mug” model MS9299 Black sold by Walmart. [REDACTED]
Self-warming coffee mug sits on a charging base. The two contacts on the charging base get hot and melt the plastic base. I stopped using the mug but am concerned if someone left the mug sitting on the charging base it could start a fire.

First aid Made Dec 20, 2012, sent to the company Jan 9, 2013, published by CPSC Jan 31, 2013
The product, in the report: Mainstays brand 16 oz. large glass tumblers 4 pack
I purchased 2 sets of Mainstays brand drinking glasses. While washing one of the glasses, I sustained a deep cut extending from below my knuckle to my thumb. The glass is brand new and was not in any way broken. Once I got my injury taken care of, I inspected the glass carefully and noticed that the rim of the glass was jagged and poorly made. I was extremely upset that an unbroken, new product could cause this much damage and pain. I am taking the glassware back to Walmart where I purchased it and hope they do something about it.
