The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

  1. No incident, no one hurt

Made Jul 3, 2026, sent to the company Jul 8, 2026, published by CPSC Jul 22, 2026

The product, in the report: Infantino My 1st Tumbler 9 Oz Silicone Sippy Cup, Liliac

My 21 month old was drinking water from her Infantino My 1st Tumbler 9 Oz Silicone Sippy Cup and she somehow was able to chew a piece of the straw off and was playing with it. I am so glad I noticed it because she could have easily choked with it if she had tried to eat it or if the piece became dislodged while she was sipping from her cup.

I recently purchased two infantino my first tumblers for my 15 month old as a Christmas gift. Within the week, the top of the straw is starting to tear potentially causing a choking hazard for kids who have teeth.
