The product, in the report: The glasses are double-walled beer glasses filled with a cooling liquid between the walls of the glass to maintain coldness. They are 7”tall, holding 16 fluid ounces, and have a silicon base wrapped around the base of the glasses.
I purchased double-walled beer glasses made out of the glass with a cooling gel between the walls of the glass to help maintain coldness. These glasses are designed to be put into the freezer, and then can be used to fill the glass with beer. The glasses were purchased from a company called True Brands with a product line called HOST glasses. These glasses were purchased through Amazon.com in February 2021. Two of the glasses have cracked or broken allowing the cooling gel to leak out into the beer posing a potential health hazard with broken glass, and leaking cooling gel. I have notified True Brands with a phone call and email, as well as Amazon.com with an email, but they refuse to stop selling the product despite the potential health hazard. Furthermore, I have checked all the reviews on Amazon regarding customer experiences with this product and almost everyone has described breakage and leaking cooling gel. However, True Brands and Amazon.com have refused to stop selling this product, or describe what the cooling gel is made up of, and its potential health hazard. I was not injured this time, but someone else may be injured or harmed in the use of this product.
