The product, in the report: Cool Gear Travel Cup. Spill proof, double wall, bpa free, sip chug Cool Gear canister/cup. Halloween edition: Pumpkin Potion.
I am contacting you in regards to a product I bought 2 of for my children. Spill proof, double wall, bpa free, sip chug Cool Gear canister/cup. Halloween editions: Pumpkin Potion & Witch’s Brew. This is NOT safe for children what so ever! (*There is also NO age limit for this cup) My youngest son (age 3) got his thumb stuck inside of the spout. There is an absolute RIDICULOUS design of a flap (inside the spout-attached to the slide to open/close) -it made it almost impossible to get his finger out. (When we pulled up on it it clamped his finger even tighter) My husband and I had to quite literally break the slider off in order to release his finger. It took us almost 20 minutes of him screaming bloody murder in order to get it off of him. I am absolutely appalled and angry that this product is available for children when it is a hazard. He has a huge blister now, swelling and redness. Thank goodness he can even move his finger after that! I don’t want anyone else getting hurt by this product. Please put a stop to this!
