The product, in the report: 16oz. Red Heart Ceramic Mug, By Celebrate It

I was holding the handle as I washed a ceramic coffee mug when the handle snapped . I ended up with a deep enough cut on my thumb that I was not able to stop the bleeding after (2) hours trying I called my PCP At [REDACTED] who took note and suggested I immediately either go to the Hospital ER or Urgent Care right away. I ended up going to the closest one , [REDACTED] Urgent Care ..where I required to get a numbing injection, sutchers and a Tetanus Injection to prevent infection . The closing stitches are to be checked again in 7-10 days to make sure theres no infection at the laceration on my thumb . I called Michaels Customer service at the actual store I purchase the mug , and was only told sorry that happened. So I looked up steps to take to report the incident . I learned that the Celebrate It ;ceramic mug is actually owned by Michaels . I emailed customercare@ Michaels.com as well and submitted record of ourchase, a photo of the mug and a photo of my hand ( thumb) with the stitches . I want to make sure the public is made aware and request that the mugs be pulled from the shelves. For the record, theres yet another recall / alert on a Celebrate It, Ceramic Travel Mug as well. Same brand similar hazard . I ask to be compensated for the damage I incurred and hope they pull them ALL off the shelves before anyone else is harmed.
