I recently bought a porcelain mug and had used it a few times for hot beverages. Three nights ago when my husband poured boiling water into it to make tea, the entire bottom came off. Hot water streamed everywhere. I’m so thankful my toddler wasn’t underfoot- otherwise he would have been scalded.
