The product, in the report: Digital Pool Thermometer TCIN 76172696 Scan Bar Number 221583991070339073

Our digital Swimline Hydrotool thermometer was not reading properly. Upon review the battery casing was leaking. The battery was corroded and was placed on the counter Soon thereafter the battery exploded and flew laterally approximately 15 ft across the kitchen. My husband was luckily uninjured but this could have resulted in a serious injury to him or others standing by.
