The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: World arket White salad plates in 8.5” in diameter. Model Nantucket

My daughter was reheating a slice of pizza on the plate for 30 seconds using a 1100 watt microwave. Upon removal after 30 seconds the plate was so hot it was untouchable and some substance had leaked out of the plate ( I think it is some sort of glue). I was prompted to report this plate since the plate states it’s microwaveable safe but clearly is unsafe to be in the microwave even for just 30 seconds. I also emailed World Market to report this incident.
