The product, in the report: The dishes were from the infant/toddler section at Walmart. They have designs such as Tinkerbell, Toy Story, Mickey Mouse, and Sesame Street.
I purchased some dishes (plates and bowls) for my 3 year old daughter to use. They were Tinkerbell, Mickey Mouse, and Toy Story. They were purchased about a year ago. The dishes say that they are dishwasher safe and some even say that they are microwave safe. They got used about once a week and were always hand washed. The decorative painting around the rims started coming off a few months ago, which is slightly concerning but it didn’t bother me so much because the food is in the partitions or bowl, not on the rims. But then they images on the bottom started bubbling up and coming off. I suspect that my daughter may have eaten some of these pieces. I initially thought maybe this was an isolated incident with one dish, but all of the dishes from the company (6 in all, purchased at various times over the past two years), but after the first one (which I threw in the garbage), the rest of the dishes’ paint show chipping and the images started peeling on some.
