The product, in the report: Teavana Tristian tea-infusing pitcher.
I bought this glass pitcher from a Teavana store thinking I would drink more tea at home but have t used it. I bought it several years ago. In 2015 I believe when I was traveling more. I used it yesterday for the third time and the thing just kind of shattered on me. It didn’t explode per se but nothing hit it or caused it to crack or shatter, just the heat. I had put hot water in the thing but it wasn’t boiling or anything. When I went to pour it it literally just cracked then shattered around the handle. It burned my left hand (which was holding the cup I was pouring tea into) up to my wrist. It was that bad. Like I didn’t go to emergency department or anything, just obviously painful. Teavana Seemed like a legit company and it was t cheap. My bill for this, some loose tea, and a cup to go was almost $100. The product is defective and dangerous! Please consider a recall. I believe the model is Teavana Tristin?

No one hurt Made Aug 29, 2015, sent to the company Sep 22, 2015, published by CPSC Oct 14, 2015
The product, in the report: 16-oz Teavanna Kierros double-walled glass tumbler.
I put approximately 14 oz. of room tempature [REDACTED] into a room temperature double-walled Kierros glass tumbler from Teavanna for the reheat temperature setting on my microwave, which is 1:10. Upon removal, I noticed the top had cracked or flaked in three places.
I have used this glass at least a dozen times in identical situations and never noticed a problem. It is one in a set of two sold by Teavanna. The other glass goes not have any visible damage at this point.
I called Teavanna to report this incident. I asked I’d this was being reported to the consumer product safety commission. When the operator - her name is [REDACTED] and I called her at 3:59 pm CST on the date of the incident - told me it would not be reported by Teavanna - I told her I would report it. I did this in part because I did experience a recall in 2013 with the Teavanna double walled Flourish glasses with a similar problem. When I selected these glasses from my local Teavanna store at that time, I was told these glasses were produced differently and were not defective. Teavanna is also recalling another product I use, the [REDACTED] pitcher.

Seen by a doctor or nurse Made Jan 18, 2012, sent to the company Jan 26, 2012, published by CPSC Feb 9, 2012
The product, in the report: IntoTeas Gift Collection 2oz of four types of tea are included with 4 tins and two 14oz white travel tumblers to steep tea in (they include removable steeping baskets). Gift boxed
I bought a gift set of two specialty travel mugs/flask for tea, four teas and four tins from Teavana (a specialty tea store). It is from the collection INTOTEAS. I followed instructions to make tea such water temperature and steps to follow to use the mug. I added tea leaves to the wire mesh and poured boiling hot water over it and closed the mug by screwing it tight. Then I lifted the mug and tried to remove the upper portion to be able to drink from it and instead of that part opening the entire upper part popped out and boiling hot water poured down my wrist and abdomen resulting in second degree scalding burns.
