The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Oxo tots transitions straw cup- sippy cup for babies and toddlers

I bought 6 of these cups over the course of the last 6 months. The last cup I purchased was 2months ago. A few weeks ago every single straw ripped at the valve. My baby was 13 months old at the time and must be biting the straw with more force. However, in order for the straw to release liquid the straw needs to be bit so the plastic needs to be able to hold up to baby teeth. The straws ripping in 2 pieces is a MAJOR CHOKING HAZARD! Because this happened with 6 straws I checked amazon reviews to see if others have had similar issues. They have, this is not a fluke. This product needs to be recalled. It is extremely unsafe. I contacted the company a few weeks ago to let them know and have gotten a standard response back that does not make me confident that they are taking my feedback seriously
