Baby was drinking from “NUK Fun Grips Trainer Cup” which has a soft spout. Part of that spout came off and was in my 14 month old’s mouth. She could have choked. The company description of the cup is: “Start your baby’s path toward independent drinking with the Fun Grips® Trainer Cup. The product, in the report: Nuk brand Turtle and Ladybug Active Cup for children 12-36 months old. The item involved was the blue “turtle” cup pictured here at the Nuk website http://www.nuk-usa.com/12-36months/cups-and-accessories/turtle-lady-bug-active-cup.aspx

12 month old baby bit off and ingested soft rubber pieces from Nuk brand Turtle & Ladybug Active Cup. This happened the first time the item was used. The child was supervised at the time of the incident and had the item for less than 5 minutes. This product is marketed specifically for children 12-36 months old. The material on the collar piece is too soft for children with teeth.
