The product, in the report: Nuby Clik It FlipNShip Cup with 360 Straw
I was refilling my 18 month old daughters straw cup when I noticed something pink in the straw. It was a piece of the plastic lid that had broken off and got into the straw. I am not sure if she inhaled any before that or if this was the only piece but she could have aspirated on this.

The product, in the report: Nuby Wash or Toss cups (sold in a 3 pack), various boy themes (Knight, Space, Pirate)
I purchased a set of 3 Nuby Wash or Toss cups. Within the first use, my son dropped the cup on the ground a the cup itself cracked and leaked. I used another cup on another day, and when dropped, the area where the spout is on the lid cracked. Further, using the third cup, the cup was dropped and a small piece of plastic from the spout of the cup broke off completely. This plastic piece was small enough for a toddler to put in his mouth and choke on. Thankfully, my child did not swallow the plastic piece, but these products should be recalled before another child gets injured or chokes. Out of 3 cups, all 3 broke within a single use.

Not said Made Jun 7, 2013, sent to the company Jun 17, 2013, published by CPSC Jul 9, 2013
The product, in the report: Already descriped in incident box... dark pink clear plastic 10 oz. Nuby Sippy Cup with green plastic lid. Inside the lid is a rubbery straw/stopper. There is a rubbery straw that the child drinks out of and on the bottom of the rubbery straw/stopper there is a removable hard plastic straw that goes down into the cup (cup can be used without this piece).
We have a Nuby Sippy Cup. It’s clear dark pink plastic with a green plastic lid. It has a clear rubbery spout/stopper (all one piece) that fits into the green lid. The part that the child drinks out of looks like a rubbery straw. There is also a hard plastic straw that attaches to the bottom of the rubber spout/stopper and goes into the cup but the child does not drink from this part. I did not notice any obvious signs of wear but as I was washing the cup, the top of the rubbery straw came off in my hand. It was a 3/4 inch piece of rubber that a child could swallow and choke on. I was horrified to think of what could have happened if that piece had come off while my baby was using it??

First aid Made May 31, 2012, sent to the company Jun 13, 2012, published by CPSC Jun 27, 2012
The product, in the report: Nuby No Spill Easy Grip Cup
I purchased 7 Nuby Easy Grip Sippy Cups at Walmart about 3 weeks ago. So far 3 have broken, and the cracks go from the bottom of the cup to the top. They are packaged stating that they are for 6 months and up, So I would think they would be able to withstand being dropped and thrown, be it while standing or from the high chair. My son is 19 months old. The first one broke because it slipped out of his hand in the kitchen right after I handed it to him (full of milk). It cracked and spilled all over the floor. The second one was dropped from his high chair and again cracked and spilled. The last one dropped in the sink while cleaning it and it cracked and cut me. These are plastic cups that are marketed to babies, I don’t see how they are breaking so easy, and injuring people.

The product, in the report: Nuby Cup - Spill Proof for Babies
Nuby brand sold by Stop & Shop Baby CUP The baby dropped the cup from his highchair and the handle penetrated the cup causing a piece of plastic to enter the water. The plastic was not immediately discovered until the baby tried drinking and water came out of the hole and onto his hand. If I was not there watching the baby could have swallowed the small piece of plastic that entered the cup.
