Enjoying outside event. Daughter, 2 years old, running with Munchin Miracle 360 sippy cup (pink) in left hand, carrying like “football”--she fell to the ground, falling directly onto the lip of the cup. the lip of the cup caused a deep laceration on her face / chin--which immediately bled everywhere--lots of blood. No other noticeable injury, only to left lower face/ chin area. Immediately held pressure and proceeded for emergency care. Stopped at fire house to obtain gauze and place temporary dressing. Proceeded to Kid Med in Short Pump, as it was closer than the hospital I worked. daughter given numbing cream, then held down and sutured laceration closed-- requiring 8 stitches.
