The reports, as CPSC published them
Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

The product, in the report: Mikasa - Lifetime Brands dishware set (TRELLIS) 8 piece sold at Costco
Mikasa dishware service purchased from Costco has metal pieces embedded on the surface of the glaze. As this is used for food, I am concerned the metal pieces can become dislodged and be ingested.

The product, in the report: Gourmet Basics by MIKASA, OMBRE, dishwasher and Microwave safe.
We purchased from Costco Online, a set of Gourmet Basics by ikasa OMBRE, which is printed on bottom.
My son removed a half filled bowl from the refrigerator with cold gravy and placed into the microwave. When it was done he lifted the dish and the bottom fell out with the hot mixture spewing everywhere. Thankfully he was not injured.
The dish is completely neatly separated at the bottom as if a seam were melted and it came apart.
This is just to let you know that there could be others harmed by this product. I do intend on contacting the maker about this on Monday the 27th of November.

First aid Made Sep 28, 2017, sent to the company Oct 10, 2017, published by CPSC Oct 31, 2017
The product, in the report: Mikasa Antique White Dinner Plate 11 in
I was scrubbing the plate with normal pressure under running water in the sink when the bottom suddenly broke out in an almost perfect circle. It cut a piece on the top of my thumb when it broke, cut could have cut worse if my hand was under it when it broke. The aftermath was two round pieces, the bottom and rim of the plate, both with very sharp edges all the way around.
