The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Advertised as a leak proof travel mug with a 100% happiness guarantee

I bought mighty mug, a mug with a “leak proof lid” and happiness guarantee. The lid will not even stay on this mug, they advertise it as being able to be shot and knocked over by a cat, but if you shake it in the least bit the lid rockets off spraying hot liquids everywhere, walls, ceiling, fridge, stove, my eyes my arms, my chest. The first time I thought it may have been my fault, until it did it again in my car, from the cup holder it sprayed everywhere accessible, including my windshield. This mug is extremely dangerous, and the customer service skills of the company are almost nonexistent. I got burned twice, and now am afraid to drink out of it for fear the lid will rocket off into my face. I also have videos, but they are not supported by this site. The lid does not seal on the cup because the threads are so small, which causes the lid to rocket off. I can put the lid on 100 different ways and it never locks, always keeps spinning. I will never trust a coffee lid again, always in fear the lid will shoot off at my face.
