The product, in the report: 2 Piece, metal & ceramic, coffee mug
I got up this morning and made a cup of coffee in my coffee machine.
I took the full, hot mug of coffee from the holder and walked toward the opposite counter in my kitchen so I could put the mug beside my sink to drink my coffee and do some dishes, but before I reached the other counter the mug became separated into 2 pieces. The hot coffee poured down my right arm, stomach, and right thigh, burning me.
The mug was purchased from star bucks and is not to be used in the microwave, which I have not, as it is a 2 piece mug that is metal and ceramic. This mug is marked dishwasher safe, made in china and marked with a 2004 stamp on the bottom which is rubberized.
I am extremely concerned as I have a 1 year old son, and am horrified to think what may have happened if this occurred, while he was around me or walking beneath me at the time of this incident.
