The product, in the report: This is a glass sippy cup in plastic housing. It retails for around $20, so it is significantly more expensive than any competitor, but I purchased because I try to not use plastic. https://www.buybuybaby.com/…/green-sprouts-by-i-pla…/3255277
I have just become aware of high levels of lead detected in the paint used on the glass sippy cup that my child has used daily for over a year and I am HUGELY concerned.
This is the product: https://www.buybuybaby.com/…/green-sprouts-by-i-pla…/3255277
I have contacted the company, but in light of the fact that they rescinded a voluntary recall (http://sanfrancisco.cbslocal.com/.../parent-tests-prompt.../), I am concerned that they will not take swift and definitive action, so I am appealing to you to intervene.
