The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

  1. Emergency room

Made Jul 14, 2016, sent to the company Jul 22, 2016, published by CPSC Aug 9, 2016

The product, in the report: FarmStand Glass Beverage Dispenser With galvanized bucket. Weighs about 20 pounds empty.

I was making lemonade in my Farmstand Becerage dispenser when I went to lift it up onto my granite countertop the bottom of the dispenser just barely tapped against the granite and broke off falling down to my knee and lacerating it causing me to get 9 staples. The weight of the dispenser is 20 pounds without liquid in it! It is very very dangerous. Had one of my children been standing there it could have cut their foot off. Or if a child were to try and dispense themselves a drink out of it and pull it down on them it could kill them! This product is way too heavy to be made out of glass and then filled with liquid. The weight of the broken glass was unbelievable.
