The product, in the report: Ember Temperature Control Mug2

I received an Ember mug for Christmas 2023 and used it according to directions approximately 6 times. On January 22, 2024 I picked it up off the charging coaster where it had sat undisturbed for a period of around 2 weeks and found it had significant corrosion and looked burned on the bottom of the mug and on the charging coaster. I reached out via email to the Ember company to report the damage and after two months received a reply. They accused me of putting the mug in the microwave and that’s what the caused the damage. The mug did not leave the charging coaster. It was never put into the microwave. They did not offer a replacement mug, merely a discount on a new one.
