The product, in the report: “10-piece set includes a handmade glass punch bowl, eight 11 oz. glasses and a plastic ladle” (from the BB&B website)

Regarding product: Dailyware TM Intent 10-Piece Punch Bowl Set. I purchased this set on August 25, 2018. As soon as I got home I pickled up this bowl, which, while holding it, shattered into a million pieces in my hand. It cut my hand and caused me to bleed everywhere. I had small kids and a dog I had to evacuate out of the room to pick up the glass fragments, which took me hours. I called the store to ask them to remove this product from their selves for safety sake and they said “Well, I think that was the last one anyway.” I called corporate customer service and they said they’d “pass this information along.” I would have been more patient in awaiting a response, but I just looked at the product reviews for this product online and see that there are several reviews in which someone was hurt by this glass shattering in their hands for no reason as long as two years ago. I’m infuriated that Bed, Bath & Beyond has kept this product on their shelves that long, knowing this product is dangerous. Is that why it was on sale for $9.99? Inexcusable. This issue has been reported to the BBB, who is still awaiting a response from BBB 15 days after contacting them.
