The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

  1. No one hurt

Made Apr 10, 2023, sent to the company Apr 13, 2023, published by CPSC Apr 27, 2023

The product, in the report: Aldi’s Stonemill brand with adjustable grinder. It comes in Black Peppercorn, Sea Salt, and Pink Himalayan Salt. The bottles are glass and those are fine. The lid is a hard plastic grinder, and at the bottom of the grinder is a brittle plastic where it twists onto the glass bottle. That twist on section is the portion that keeps shattering.

The hard plastic grinders on Aldi’s Stonemill sea salt/pink Himalayan salt/and black peppercorn products have shattered more than once. This time I didn’t notice because most of the break stayed in place(just a big crack), but a chunk dropped into my cooking apparently. I went to take a bite of my noodles and bit into the chunk of hard plastic(I did take a photo). After warning other local parents, I am also hearing from multiple people that the same thing with the same product has happened to them as well.
