The product, in the report: GE Coffee and Spice Grinder model #111338 Black and Silver 120V 60HZ 200W
GE Coffee and Spice Grinder model #111338
I bought this item in 09/2011 at Walmart. I only used it twice. Once the second day I bought it and today on 09/20/2011 at approximately 7:00am. After putting a small amount of coffee beans in the grinder top and pressing the pulse button I began to smell smoke after about 2 seconds. After another second I actually began to SEE smoke. I looked near the plug at the base (where the smoke was originating) and plug connected to the machine began to smoke and burn.
This is a NEW product and could have caused a fire.
