The product, in the report: Bodum BISTRO Blade Grinder, Electric Blade Coffee Grinder, Black, 3-ounce
I used my Bodum coffee grinder as I usually do. I tap it on the counter to keep the coffee grains low before removing the cover so that ground-up coffee beans don’t spill out. I’ve had this coffee grinder for about 6 years now. Suddenly as I was raising the coffee grinder after grinding up some beans the entire cover came off! I was shocked to see the insides, the blade, and ground-up coffee beans spilled all over the place. I quickly unplugged it from the power outlet. I’m surprised to see that no screw or anything is holding the appliance together. I assume it was just glue? I reached out to the company and they said I am beyond the 1-year warranty. But I wasn’t looking for warranty coverage, I was wondering what the heck happened. It is a $25 appliance so it’s not a big deal to me. Safety is a big deal.
