When working with the onion chopper, when I pushed the locking mechanism button into the “luck“ position, the button popped off, and my right index finger and middle finger slid directly across the top of the blades, causing too long and deep lacerations that should have gotten stitches. I refused medical care.

While I was trying to clean and put away my Mueller Onion Chopper, I tried to lock the system in place and the small green locking “thing” flew off and my hand slipped. My thumb hit the metal cutting system and cut my thumb. I decided not to go to the hospital. I was able to use glue. This happened to me on April 1, 2020.

The locking tab on our Mueller Vegetable Chopper often comes loose and dissassembles. While trying to put it back on I have cut my fingers on the products blades. My wife has cut here hand as a result of the locking mechanism on 2 occasions.

I used the Mueller Austria Onion Chopper Pro and I was trying to lock the blade into the chopper. As I was locking the latch, it broke and my thumb ran across the blade. I sliced my thumb and ended up in the ER needing 7 stitches. This product is not good!!
