The product, in the report: It is a mandoline used for slicing & julienning vegetables.
The product is Chef’n Pull’n Slice mandoline. While using the julienne attachment one of the blades fell out of the attachment. I noticed it when I took the mandoline apart for cleaning. I started to turn the salad I was making and after a while I found the blade still in tact, so it had not been splintered. This product is made of plastic, as an added comment, it is made in China and if any product that can go bad, it comes from China. I purchased it from Williams-Sonoma about a year ago. It is made by Chef’n Corporation in Seattle, WA. Their phone # is 866-642-4336. I feel that this product should be recalled and redesigned before being allowed to be sold.
If you need the product and pieces, I have them.
