The product, in the report: Progressive Prep Solutions Multi Slicer UPC 78915 03498 Kent, WA 98032

I purchased the Progressive Prep Solutions Multi Slicer today. I removed the packaging and noted the removable label on the blade stating to be careful of the sharp blade. After washing the items, I put my vegetables in the slicer and was very pleased with the performance and quickness of the slicing. I then sauteed the vegetables not seeing anything wrong. About halfway through my meal I started to choke when I felt something sharp in my throat. I was able to cough it up and remove it and found it was a “needle like” sliver of white plastic. I went back to the saute pan and found four more of them. As far as I know I did not ingest any other pieces but after looking them over I could see they were shaved off the food glide that holds the vegetable when you are slicing the item and apparently there is no stop to not allow you to start slicing the plastic against the blade..I never even knew it happened until I felt it in my throat. this product sliced great but needs to be modified to not allow the glide to unknowingly contact the blade.
