First aid Made Dec 4, 2011, sent to the company Dec 12, 2011, published by CPSC Dec 27, 2011
The product, in the report: Pro Slicer, black with silver hardware. Three pieces, include a guard and two slicers. manufacturer name “Gourmet Chef Slicer, by Twin Towers Training. www.twintowerstrading.com”.
I purchased a “Pro-Slicer,” from Sam’s Club on 11/13/2011 for my mother and I to use in our kitchen. Since the purchase date, mother has used the device twice, resulting in deep lacerations to her hands. The problem is that the device cuts deeply even when used as directed. I fear that people could risk losing extremities (i.e. fingers, finger tips, et cetera). I’m also worried about the housekeepers and those who wash their own dishes, and how this device can literally slice someone up in the process. Please look into this device!!
