The product, in the report: Apple wedger. Best Brands Consumer Products, Inc.
I purchased an apple wedger from Walmart. When I tried to use it the metal part got stuck in the apple and bowed causing it to come out of the plastic ring. When this happened it cut my right thumb between the first and second knuckle. I treated it my self but it really might have needed stitches. This is NOT a safe product and should be taken off the shelf. The company is aware of the danger and continues to sell this product. I tried to call the company but no one answers except an answering machine. I left a message an have not been contacted by the company yet.
