The product, in the report: Cookware
Caller is reporting that the cookware set lids are defective because water gets trapped between the rim of the lid which disperses while in use and is very unsafe. He stated that the water has no way to escape from within the lid after cleaning. He stated the saucepan was heating up with oil and the water from the lid started to enter the pan.
(4/6) The manufacturer was contacted and they informed him at it was a design flaw and could not do anything about it.
Water did not only “start to enter the pan”, water did enter the pan which contained hot oil and spattered profusely causing a potentially dangerous situation. There is no way to remove water trapped in the channel between the lid top and rim.
