The product, in the report: Cookware
Consumer stated that the cookware that was included with induction stovetop , was used on gas range which cause one of the rivets to make a loud popping sound, which sounded like a gun shot. She stated that her daughter related the incident and that the rivet became a projectile and could cause bodily injury. Due to incident her daughter’s equilibrium is off balance. She did not know if her adult child will need medical attention.
No medical attention sought. Equilibrium returned after several hours.
Caller contacted the manufacturer and she was informed that the cookware was not meant to be used on other cooking surfaces and they would include that in instructions about that in the future.
