Hurt, no treatment Made Apr 1, 2015, sent to the company Apr 10, 2015, published by CPSC May 1, 2015
The product, in the report: Hy Cite Enterprise Royal Prestige 9-ply Thermal Wall 1.5 qt cookware
I have the Hy Cite Enterprises Royal Prestige Cookware with the thermal walls that was recalled. I sent my cookware in as prescribed in the recall that was seen for pans collapsing. After getting my pans back from the company my 1.5 qt pan constantly made a whistling noise when I used it. One day as I was cooking some caramel sauce in it, the pan was whistling like it had been doing since the pans had been returned. As my sauce was almost done, all of a sudden it made a great popping sound and the plug in the side blew out and the pan flew off the stove while flinging hot caramel sauce all over the kitchen and myself. Fortunately for me I managed to jump and escape most of the caramel sauce that went all over as it was very hot and could have really caused some severe burns instead of the few tiny blisters that I received from the hot caramel sauce landing on me in spots. The of course I had to deal with cleaning up caramel from one side of the kitchen from the other. I was very unhappy with this and have been concerned about using any of the other cookware since then.

No one hurt Made Jul 2, 2013, sent to the company Jul 10, 2013, published by CPSC Jul 31, 2013
The product, in the report: Royal Prestige 9-Ply 8 qt. Dutch oven.
When cooking with oil my pan made a load popping noise and upon later inspection it was made apparent that the sidewalls of the pan had been pushed outward all around the pan. Over the next hour or so as the pan cooled sections of the bowed out pan started popping back into their original placement. Had I been using more oil, it would have spilled out causing damage to me or my property.
