The product, in the report: Cuisinart Chef’s Classic Stainless cooking set with glass lids

    Dear Team,

I bought a cooking set- CUISINART CHEF’S CLASSIC STAINLESS cooking set and while cooking on 06/23/2019 a glass lid of the pot exploded and crashed into lots of small pieces all over the stove and my kitchen. All my food was spoiled. Moreover I cut my finger.

Please, stop this producer to sell such harmful sets.

    Regards,

    [REDACTED].

The product, in the report: Cuisinart 12 inch skillet

I was cooking with my 12” Cuisinart skillet when there was a loud bang, like a gunshot. I felt a burning pain on my hand. I looked and there was a perfect circle indented on my hand. There was bruising, a burn and some small cuts. I couldn’t figure out what had happened. I used ice and disinfectant to stop the burning.

It took over an hour to figure out what had happened. I finally noticed that one of the rivets on my pan no longer had a cap. The size was identical to the mark on my hand. The next day, we found the cap in another room, almost 20 feet from the stove!

This is an extremely dangerous product and I am shocked to find that there have been reports of this happening For several years.

The product, in the report: Glass lid on 6 quart cuisinart pot

I was cooking Chicken Corn Soup in a large 6 quart saucepan by Cuisinart, and turned it down to simmer. The lid had been on the pot halfway when it was cooking but when I turned it down to simmer I put the lid on completely, and about two minutes later, the glass lid exploded.
