  1. No one hurt

Made Oct 14, 2014, sent to the company Oct 30, 2014, published by CPSC Nov 17, 2014

The product, in the report: 8.5 inch skillet

Cookware purchased October 1st, 2014 Caller checking to be positive that his set is not recalled with release# 12-182. It is not, however the smallest pan which is an 8.5 inch skillet in this set tilts when placed on his gas range.

He contacted the manufacturer to report this issue and was advised by rep he spoke with asked if he had a gas range then when he replied that he did she advised him that this was always going to happen when this pan is placed on a gas range and that if she sent him a replacement pan, it would also tip to the side.

The consumer is creating this report with the firm belief that this could potentially cause a severe burn hazard.

One instance could be if the range was accidently bumped and there was hot liquid, hot grease etc in the pan.

This would be even more devastating if a child were near and was hit with the hot liquid.

There are no injuries being reported at this time

The caller has contacted the manufacturer and the answer he received can be seen in verbiage above.
