The product, in the report: two and a half quart stainless steel sauce pan by Betty Crocker
I was cooking vegetables in a stainless steel sauce pan until I realized the cookware had boiled dry. When I lifted the pot, the aluminum base fell off and landed in the floor, and liquid metal poured out. I was cooking in socks, but not shoes. The molten aluminum landed on the tile floor and splashed on the side of my foot. The side of my left foot is burned. I pulled my sock off as quickly as I could to get the liquid metal away from my skin. There are black fibers from my sock stuck on the burns. I’m going to the doctor in the morning. The pot says Betty Crocker on it.
