The product, in the report: Emeril Lagasse Power AirFryer 360 xl
after loss of power during weather, our Emeril Lagassi air fryer turned on to 400 degrees pre heat when power was restored without us turning it on. Tested it again by turning it off. turned power to the receptacle by hitting the GFI. When restoring power to the GFI the airfryer automictically came back on and tried to preheat to 400 degrees with no input from me. Definite fire hazard for those that aren’t home when there is a power outage

The product, in the report: It’s a black Power Air Fryer XL Model AF530, there is another number on the label which might be a serial number 4004584.
I was fixing lunch in my Tristar Power Air Fryer XL Model AF 530. At the end of the cooking cycle, I pulled out the basket and discovered that the handle is breaking, the silver part of the handle is coming off the black part of the handle. It didn’t break on me, but I am very concerned that this is about to fall apart.

No one hurt Made Nov 28, 2018, sent to the company Mar 5, 2019, published by CPSC Mar 27, 2019
The product, in the report: Power AirFryer 6-Quart Elite (http://www.powerairfryer.com) http://www.powerairfryer.com/about.php
I ordered an air fryer from http://www.powerairfryer.com It arrived and the cooking trays were scraping off material from the inside walls of the oven. The trays were so tight that pulling them out caused the oven to tip over forward: had hot food been in the oven, it could have caused burns. I sent it back and received a replacement. The same thing with this one. I sent the second one back, and they sent me a third one. The same thing yet again. I sent that one back and am awaiting a refund. Three for three, these ovens were not safe to use.

The product, in the report: Power Air Fryer XL
I bought an Power Air Fryer XL from Sam’s Club about 8 months ago. It has not been used a lot but when it is used it feels like the plastic warps and is hard to put the pan back in place. The problem now is that when you pull fryer basket out by the handle, the handle separates from the pan without having pushed the button to release the basket from the pan. I have had the pan fall a few times off the basket and onto the floor. This pan is very hot and has fallen onto a vinyl floor in the kitchen. I feel the safety of these baskets and pans should be upgraded. Thank you, [REDACTED]

No one hurt Made Jul 9, 2018, sent to the company Jul 16, 2018, published by CPSC Jul 30, 2018
The product, in the report: Power AirFryer 3.4 Black with silver top, handle and buttons. The product was purchased at Walmart and is product number 550564637. The manufacturer part and Modle number is PAF-BLACK 3QT
My daughter was using a Power AirFryer 3.4. She had put french fries in it and used the pre-programmed french fry setting. Less than 5 minutes after the fries were put into the machine a fire started from the machine. Within minutes the fire had spread and destroyed the whole kitchen.
The product was completely and totally melted in the fire. The device is supposed to have a shut off mechanism if it gets too hot. There was no warning or smoke that was visible before the fire started.
The smoke detectors didn’t go off until the fire had spread throughout the kitchen. The product was less than a year old and was not dirty or overfilled. The fire adjuster said that he thinks that something on the counter caught on fire due to the heat from the machine. The machine was on for less than 5 minutes and cooks with hot air. I do not believe that this is how the fire was started.
There were flames at the back of the machine and a puff of smoke came out of the top of it after the fire had already started.

The product, in the report: Power Air Fryer Oven Deluxe V2 6 QT, Black, case dimentions 40X40X46 cm, SKU # 4-00508-21, order #2150T-2017-50122-345 *20
Product “Power AirFryer Oven by As Seen On TV released sickening stench of burning plastic when run at 400 Degrees for 15 minutes, for the first time in our kitchen on Thursday, December 21, 2017 and 3 subsequent trials on out patio the following three days, as directed by the customer service department who stated any odor would be temporary. The trials resulted in the same toxic odor and the stench is still in our home today, December 25, 2017. The stench is in out clothing and furniture as well. We are in a 1300 square foot home. there are two of us. My husband has no physical complaints but he was outside the house during the first occurrence. As for me, I had burning in my eyes, nose, throat and lungs, coughing, vomiting and headache. I have not sought medical attention, but am considering it as I am still having nose and throat irritation and headaches. In addition, our dogs seemed effected that day, whining and not wanting to be in the house, where they usually spend all their time.
