The product, in the report: 4.7 quart masterchef air fryer 1400w
I was using the air fryer to cook hashbrowns, which i have done dozens of times successfully. About halfway through the cook time the entire unit shut off and filled the house with a burning plastic smell. Looking at the food it was quite burnt and should not have been at this point in the cooking process. I am guessing the heating element malfunctioned or something electrical.
